The approach
A computer out of the box is not ready for work: no accounts, no printer, no antivirus, no backup. Whoever ends up setting it up between other jobs skips half of it under deadline, and a few machines configured that way and the office ends up with computers that all behave a little differently.
We apply the same standard build to every machine: current Windows and drivers, email and shared drives connected, printers working, antivirus and backup running before anyone opens a spreadsheet on it. If it is replacing an old computer, we move that person's data across first. It happens on site, on your hardware, so the machine is sitting on the desk ready to go, not shipped back and forth.

Computer Setup, answered straight.
- Are the antivirus and backup subscriptions included in the $195?
- No. The $195 buys the setup work: we install endpoint protection and get a backup job running, on subscriptions billed in your own name. The licences stay yours if you ever change providers, and you are not paying us a markup on them. If you would rather we run and monitor the backups for you, that is our cloud backup service at $299 setup plus $19 per workstation per month.
- Can you set up computers we bought ourselves?
- Yes. Most of our setups are on hardware clients already own or bought on their own; we do not need to be the ones who sold you the machine to configure it properly.
- Can you move everything off an old computer?
- Yes. If you are replacing a machine, we copy the files, settings and any software licenses across before handing over the new one, so nothing gets left behind on a computer headed for storage.
- Do you have to come to our office?
- Yes, and that is deliberate. Setup includes physically connecting the machine to your printers, network and accounts, which goes faster and gets done right in person rather than over a remote screen-share.
